Sustainability will Drive Your Business with David Green

David Green is responsible for the strategic and tactical development and execution of broad-based sustainable construction solutions for Master Builders Solutions worldwide.  This has included the development of life cycle assessment-based tools for quantifying the sustainability of concrete on numerous projects from residential to iconic structures including One Word Trade Center, the Shard, and the Burj Khalifa.  David has also developed over 150 product specific concrete environmental product declarations for projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Peru, Germany, Canada and the US.

David is and has been actively involved on various sustainability committees with ASTM, USGBC, WELL and ACC in addition to PCR committees for concrete and cement.  He has over 25 years of engineering, manufacturing and operations management experience, is accredited by the Green Building Certification Institute and certified as a Green Globes Professional.

Learn:

  • Review the elements of sustainability and key measurements to quantify sustainable concrete
  • Recognize and understand the similarities and differences in a carbon footprint, embodied carbon and operational carbon.
  • Increase your knowledge on Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and their importance for the precast industry.
  • Understand how the sustainability of different concrete mixtures can be quantified and compared.
